First Man

“First Man” is directed by Damien Chazelle and stars Ryan Gosling, Claire Foy, and Jason Clarke. The movie is based on the life of Neil Armstrong. The movie follows on how the moon project began to eventually land of Apollo 11 in 1969. The movie also gives an in-depth life story of Neil Armstrong (played by Ryan Gosling) about the struggles and hardship he had to take for the project that will ultimately change the space program. I am a huge fan of Damien Chazelle. His work in Whiplash and La La Land were great and fun to watch and each movie had different stories which made the movie entertaining. This movie was no different it was such a great movie. For the things I liked about this movie, the cast did an amazing job in portraying their characters. Especially Ryan Gosling performance the task he and his delivers on the certain act will leave you in tears. As I said before, the director did a great job in bringing this on the big screen. It almost felt like if we were watching from Neil’s point of view. I also enjoyed the soundtrack of the movie just as Damien other projects this was no exception. It was played on point when there was tension on the screen to scenes where the characters had an emotional scene. It was played perfectly. For the thing, did not like about the movie was the length of the movie it could have shortened a bit especially during the second act which felt it slowed down from the build-up of the first act.

Overall, I would highly recommend watching this movie on the big screen either in IMAX or in Dolby Atmos. Watching the movie on the big screen would give you a better resolution.
